I had a fantabulous day (yes, that is a true me-ism word)! M. and H. both had v-day parties at their school. They were so cute and fun! I always liked going and helping with the parties! I was surprised, to say the least, When I arrived at H. school party and the teacher hands me a red rose. With a huge smile on her face she tells me that a boy in H.'s class gave it to her!! H. did tell me that a boy liked her. I even talked about it with the boys mother! The mother told me that her little boy said he is H.'s "hero" and if H. ever needed to be safe and happy, he would be there! :0) Also, according to mom, it was the little boy's idea to give her a flower! Oh boy! Do we have our hands full or what!?! I am just glad that T. came home with some flowers too! It would have been a little uncomfortable if he was shown up by a 5 year old!! (j/k)
Here H. is w/ her "Hero"!
The evening was fun as well. The kids and I surprised T. with a fondue dinner! The girls cut out hearts to hang on the ceiling and decorated the kitchen so cute! R. just was glad he could eat!:) We never really have had a fondue dinner, I think we have a new tradition! For dessert, we made chocolate pancakes w/ yummy toppings! I sent the kids to bed with a sugar high! I loved the evening! It was the best part of the day! I think the kids enjoyed themselves too! Happy Valentine's Day! Till next year!
