Labor Day was full of non-stop fun!!  Starting with R.'s b-day party and ending with a nice BBQ w/ friends!  We got up early to go to the annual Balloon Festival.  One of the coolest things ever!!  I love walking around as these giant hot air balloons when they start their burners to blow up their huge balloon!  I wanted to attend the night lights, but ran out of time and steam by then!! I forgot my camera so all the pictures were on my phone, so details are fuzzy.

 We went out to breakfast, to the best breakfast place ever, then went home for a little nap!  Most of us slept, other than the older girls, they were pretty beat when it came time to go to the Sky Sox game! 

It was fan appreciation night and boy were the fireworks fantastic!!  I attempted to take pictures, but my camera isn't the best when it comes to that! (by the way they didn't play so hot, they lost 14 to 9).  The grossest thing happened about half way through the game, it started raining bugs!  YUCK! The bugs were attracted to the stadium lights and when they hit them it killed them.  Then along came a breeze to blow their dead little carcases on our heads!!  It was so gross!  I was happy that I wore a hat.  My friend said the top benches under the lights were covered in dead bugs, even a man had layers of dead bugs in his hair!!! Gag!!!  The kids thought it was pretty cool trying to catch huge moths and such.  M. and her friend K. were pretty impressed to see a cockroach!  Yeah, I was pretty glad I didn't eat there.  Too many bugs,but we seemed to have  good time!

  Sun.  we didn't do anything other than church, we were so wiped out it wasn't even funny!  Lots of sleep and a movie later.  Mon. it seemed to be lazy with a yummy breakfast, we had some friends come over.  T. and his friend worked on all the cars, the entire day.  I got to visit with his wife, watch a movie then stuff our faces with yummy food.  All in all a very good and exhausting Labor Day Weekend!

I just love my friends! Do we have fun or what!!

I love long weekends with the kids.  I feel that we run all week long and really don't get to "hang out" together.  Friends, family and lots and lots of fun!  Who could ask for anything better?
